The Shadow Syndicate: " the setup" (Part one)

John, a former special forces soldier turned private investigator, is hired by a wealthy client to investigate a string of robberies at high-end jewelry stores. He soon discovers that the robberies are being carried out by the Shadow Syndicate, a mysterious organization with much bigger plans in store. John is aided by Maria, a former member of the Syndicate who has turned against them and is now working with John to bring them down. As they work to gather evidence and build their case, they are pursued by the Syndicate's henchmen and find themselves in a series of thrilling chases and escapes.
